I find myself very relatable to the way Snoopy thinks and faces problems. Focusing on his positive attitude, this work explores Snoopy’s mentality through my motto in life "There are no expert's guide, you are your own happiness." which I believe Snoopy would also agree on. The layout of the content mimics the speed which Snoopy reads (one word a day). Towards the end of the zine, the word “ME” slowly reveals, but with an incomplete edge, signifying that we should embrace our imperfections and treat them with positivity. Through this calendar, I hope to express the fact that happiness should be built upon ourselves rather than relying on others.
